Effie Stenzler, Chairman of the Labor Party\'s Election Committee, is in favor of a revote at 30 polling stations. The camps of both Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and Knesset Speaker Avraham Burg, according to the proposal, will each choose 15 stations at which they feel there were \"irregularities.\" Although the Burg camp, whose man currently holds a lead of over 1,000 votes, objects strenuously to any compromise, senior Labor members seemed to think that the above compromise, or a variation thereof, would be adopted in the end. Ben-Eliezer supporters are confident that if \"real\" elections are held in the Druze sector, support for him there will be sufficient to gain him victory.
