Jerusalem Magistrates Court Justice Noam Solberg ordered the Hevron police department to destroy the fingerprints it took from a Jewish minor, a resident of the Hevron Jewish Community. Solberg ruled that the police may not take fingerprints by force, nor may they arrest someone for the purpose of forcing him to agree to provide such prints. The Jews of Hevron said that this was a victory over the police that \"wish to turn us into criminals.\"
