The Veterinarian Service of the Agriculture Ministry will begin checking whether meat imported from Argentina is infected with hoof-and-mouth disease. The decision follows the announcement that the disease has been discovered in Argentina as well. The Agriculture Ministry emphasizes, however, that the plague is not dangerous to people.
