Zuroff started by discussing what motivated Weisenthal to dedicate his life to hunting down and bringing Nazi war criminals to justice. "One of the things that really motivated him was his desire to give meaning to his own survival. He often asked himself, why was it that he survived. He wanted very much to give significance to that survival, and this was one of his main motivations," Zuroff told Arutz-7 TV's Mark Kaplan.
