The race for head of the Labor Party is tightening up. A poll published in Yediot Acharonot today shows that Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer has managed to close to within three percentage points of his opponent, Knesset Speaker Avraham Burg. The margin is now 44%-41%, within the statistical margin of error. Regarding whether the contenders are worthy of serving as Prime Minister, each of the two received a positive answer from only 36% of the respondents.
