A report on the Israeli economy, published by the international consulting firm of McKinsey & Company, shows that foreign corporate interest in Israeli technology remains high. The Jerusalem Post quotes the paper\'s author Roger Abravanel to the effect that the multi-national companies feel that Israel\'s \"innovative high-tech sector has lost little of its dynamism.\"

Abravanel writes that investments in Israeli hi-tech companies and technologies increased 30-fold during the course of the past three years. Total capital invested per capita exceeded that of any other country. There has been a change in types of investments over the past year, but not in investor interest, and international investors are interested in integrating Israeli technologies into their existing businesses. Furthermore, renewed interest has been shown by Japanese and European firms, which are increasing both financial investments and technological collaboration.
