Construction of homes in Netzarim also continues as usual, despite the decree hanging over the residents' heads.

The new cherry tomato planting is being planted by long-time Netzarim resident Eliyahu Uzan. "We're continuing to live and work as usual," Uzan told Arutz-7. "We are heartened by the fact that the People of Israel, in Kfar Maimon and at Ofakim and in many other places, are showing that they do not want this terrible crime - being perpetrated on all of Israel in general, and to the families who live here in particular - to happen."

"It's crowded here in Netzarim," said another resident, with the happiness clearly showing through in her voice, "and there's room for more... Of course, everyone here has his own sadness about everything that's going on, but it's not a personal sadness - it's over that which is happening to the nation. But it doesn't affect our daily lives... Everyone is invited to come and see for themselves how we settle the land with joy."

She said that one family that lived in Netzarim for several years has now returned - but because their home is being rented out to someone else, they bought another home from the township and are now in the process of renovating it.

Another Netzarim resident is building his private home, and two weeks ago, the town purchased a small house in Tel Aviv and brought it in by truck - with army permission. Renovations on it are currently underway.

The local yeshiva, Netzar Mata'ai, is also working on new structures.
