An Israeli computer program that plays chess has won a worldwide competition. Ittim News Agency reports that the competition, in Maastricht, Holland, pitted 18 computerized chess softwares against each other. Israel\'s program beat out its German competitor, Schroeder, which won last year. The winner, named Junior, was designed over the course of ten years by Tel Aviv computer whizzes Amir Ban and Shai Bushinsky.
