In addition to the failed car bomb attack in Jerusalem yesterday afternoon, Jewish homes in the ancient city of Hevron and nearby Kiryat Arba came under intense terrorist gunfire last night. The IDF returned fire, including tank shells, at PLO positions on the hills of Givat Shalhevet (Abu Sneineh) and Harat A-Sheikh in Hevron. There were no reports of injuries.
In other attacks on Israeli civilians, a motorist on the Jerusalem - Modi\'in road, near the Dor gas station, was targeted by Arab sniper fire. The Israeli was uninjured, but bullets damaged the vehicle. Also on Tuesday night, terrorists fired into the Jewish town of Beit Chaggai, in the Southern Hevron Hills, damaging several homes. The industrial zone of N\'vei Dekalim on the southern Mediterranean coast and the Erez checkpoint were also fired upon. To the north of the area, mortar rockets landed near Kibbutz Be\'eri. There were no reports of injuries in any of the attacks.

A-ram Junction, south of Ramallah. In addition, 30 grenades were fired at IDF soldiers stationed near the community of Gadid and at the Thermit Outpost near the Rafiach Crossing to Egypt. There were no injuries in any of the incidents.
