Hadassah Hospital officials report that the two victims of the Saturday night shooting attack on the 45 bus appear in moderate condition based on the preliminary triage following their arrival in the Hadassah emergency room in Mount Scopus.

Terrorists from a stationary position atop a mountain opened fire at an Egged accordion bus traveling from the northern neighborhood of Pisgat Ze’ev northbound to the neighborhood of N’vei Yaakov at about 11:00pm. The shots rang out at the Pisgat Ze’ev – Hizme Junction. The bullets penetrated the accordion portion of the two-section bus, striking the victims, a 6-year-old girl and a 20-year-old male. A Ford van in the area was also struck by the gunfire. There were no injuries.

After the shots rang out, the bus continued on its way until N’vei Yaakov and then called for assistance.
