The IDF mobilized ground troops including tanks and armored personnel carriers this past week around the PA controlled village of Beit Jalla following massive Palestinian gunfire directed at the neighborhood of Gilo and the Tunnels Road three days ago.



The Tunnels Road, which is the main highway between the Ezion block and the capital, passes below Gilo and is one of the Palestinian snipers’ main targets. Two Israelis have been murdered on this road in the many attacks since the Oslo War began ten months ago.
