"The southern bank of the Alexander River abuts the shifting sands of the coastal plain. Both sides of the river are blessed with a wealth of riverbank vegetation. On the northern bank (in the national park) is a eucalyptus grove and an open area where visitors can picnic and relax in natural surroundings."
