Though the main events were held in the two areas on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, visitors continue to arrive even today, and more are expected on Sunday.

Over 150 photos of Wednesday's Gush Katif march can be seen at "www.katif.net/spe.php?name=wolking&id=8".

Among the many visitors in Katif is Eliezer, a building contractor from the northern town of Maalot. He came to Katif for a week of volunteer work, refurbishing old Egyptian seaside cottages in the seaside community of Shirat HaYam [Song of the Sea]. Located just to the north of N'vei Dekalim, Shirat HaYam now houses some 26 families, and is hoping to have new homes ready for new families in the coming weeks. Asked why he came, Eliezer responded, "Because I love my country."

At the same time, Palestinian terrorism continues unabated - despite the declared "hudna" ceasefire. A mortar shell was fired at Gadid in central Gush Katif yesterday afternoon, followed a few hours later by gunfire at an IDF outpost in Rafiach Yam. On Wednesday and Wednesday night, as well, the terrorists fired several rockets, with at least one landing not far from the parade of marchers. No one was hurt.
