...Seder night [Saturday night] in N'vei Dekalim was, according to residents and visitors, "unprecedented." Local Rabbi Yigal Kaminetzky reported that he had received a letter from the head of Yeshivat Kisei Rachamim in Bnei Brak, the venerated and Kabbalistic scholar Rabbi Meir Mazuz. Rabbi Mazuz wrote that after the Seder, all the residents should recite the passage in Chapter 6 of Book of Judges dealing with Israel's salvation during the time of Gideon - which occurred, according to the Sages, on Passover. Many residents then spontaneously took to the streets in song, dancing until 3:00 in the morning.
...MK Aryeh Eldad continues his march from the Shomron to Gush Katif, and dozens of residents of the northern Gaza community of Elei Sinai have joined him today. Meanwhile, children of the M. family in Beit El utilized their Afikoman privileges - which, according to custom, allow them to demand a special present from their parents - in a unique manner. They asked not for a MP3 player or a DVD, but rather that their parents move the family to the threatened Shomron community of Chomesh as soon as possible. In light of the children's determination, the parents are reportedly considering their options.
...People from the disengagement-threatened communities of Elei Sinai and Nisanit in northern Gaza have filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Using maps and other historic documents, they are seeking to prove that their location is north of the Green Line [the pre-1967 ceasefire line] and that there is therefore no reason to hand their lands over to the Palestinian Authority.
The three northern Gaza communities - Dugit, Elei Sinai and Nisanit - will hold a memorial ceremony tomorrow to commemorate the uprooting of the northern Sinai communities 23 years ago this month.

In attendance will be former Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, as well as Knesset Speaker Ruby Rivlin (Likud), who recently intimated that his friend Ariel Sharon should be removed from the Likud because of the disengagement plan.
