The trip is specifically geared towards English-speaking Israelis and tourists.
Highlights of the schedule include tours of Jewish communities in Gaza, and visits to Gush Katif's famous greenhouses and hothouses. The trip will also include a stop along the Israel's southern Mediterranean beachfront, and a large barbecue to close the day.
Buses depart from Jerusalem's Binyanei HaUma (International Convention Center), across from the Central Bus Station, at 9:30am.
“We are extremely excited to bring as many English-speaking Jews as possible to Gush Katif this Pesach,” said Alex Traiman, Arutz Sheva's Director of Marketing. “There is no better way to truly understand the realities facing the brave residents of Jewish Gaza, than to see them firsthand. By visiting Gush Katif, one can quickly fall in love with this beautiful yet controversial strip of G-d's holy land.”
The tour costs only 200 shekels for adults, 150 shekels for children under 12. Children under 3 are free. The price includes the tour, transportation between Jerusalem and Gush Katif, lunch and a barbecue dinner strictly Kosher for Passover. Participants are urged to eat breakfast before arriving in the morning.
In January, on Tu B'Shvat, the Jewish new year for trees, Arutz-7 led a delegation of 110 devoted English speakers to Gush Katif to show solidarity with residents, and plant trees for the future generations of these growing Jewish communities. This Passover, Arutz Sheva will continue to bring devoted Jewish supporters to the towns that are now the center of world focus.
Arutz-7 is known primarily as a multi-media news service, providing continuously updated internet news, radio and television that remains true to a Torah perspective. In addition, Arutz Sheva has become a leader in Israel activism amongst Hebrew and English-speaking Israelis and Jews worldwide.
Space on the tour is limited and participants must RSVP in advance in order to attend. To reserve a place on the trip and for further details, please email: katif@israelnn.com.
