The conference, to be held for the second year in a row, will take place immediately after the holiday of Purim, from March 28-30, at Jerusalem’s Regency Hotel. The three-day Jerusalem Conference will bring together leading figures in Israeli politics, economy, security establishment, culture, and academia; as well as various Torah scholars.

The theme of the conference is “Determining Israel's National Agenda.” Certain to be a major focus is Sharon's plan to expel the Jews living in Gaza and the northern Shomron.

Dr. Gal Luft, Executive Director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, Energy Sources and Terrorism in Washington, D.C., will participate in the panel discussion entitled, “Terrorism, Security And Democracy: Strategy And Tactics In The War On Terror.”

Bennet Zimmerman, Managing Director of the Israel Emerging Growth Fund and a Founder of New Alternatives for Peace, will take part in a session called, “Israel And The Arab Sector: Demographic, Governmental And Societal Ramifications.”

A panel discussion on “Israel And The Nations: The Battle For World Public Opinion” will feature both Jeffrey H. Ballabon, President of the Ballabon Group and Founder and President of the Center for Jewish Values, and Morton A. Klein, National President of the Zionist Organization of America.

Andrew J. Neff, Senior Managing Director of Bear Stearns, New York, will speak on a panel discussing “Israeli Hi-Tech As The Vehicle For Achieving National Economic Independence.” Also participating in that panel is Peter Morgan Kash, co-founder and Chairman of Two River Group Holdings.

The Jerusalem Conference is the national-economic policy convention of the B'Sheva Newspaper. B’Sheva is the dominant newspaper in the religious and nationalist sectors. The popular weekly was ranked as Israel’s third largest circulation publication in a recent TGI poll, and is delivered free every week to 140,000 families.
