Aloh Naaleh has targeted the some 5,000 American students who study in Israeli yeshivot each year. The goal is to increase Aliyah awareness among them, and to have them bring this message back when they return to their homes.
Tomorrow's event will feature speeches by noted lecturer and teacher Rabbi Zev Leff of Moshav Matityahu, who is the Rosh HaYeshiva (Dean) of Yeshiva Gedolah Matityahu, and by Yavneh Director Dyonna Ginsburg. Co-sponsoring the event are the OU Israel Center and the Jerusalem Municipality.
Students will attend from the following institutions: Afikei Torah, Be’er Miriam, Darchei Binah, Machon Gold, Matan, Michlalah, Michlelet Esther, Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim, Michlelet Orot, Midreshet HaRova, Midreshet Lindenbaum, Midreshet Moriah, Midreshet Rachel, Nishmat, Shaalvim for Women, Shearim and Yavneh Olami.
