Despite the apparent dangers involved, the percentage of reservists reporting for reserves duty in Judea and Samaria over the past months stands at over 90% - a higher rate than before the beginning of the current mini-war. A steep increase in requests for deferment has been registered during this time, however. The army continues to request that the government allow it to call reservists for a maximum of 46 days of duty a year, instead of the current 23. The matter will be discussed in one of the first meetings of the new Cabinet.
