Shimon Blumberg and his 14-year-old daughter Tzipora, shot by terrorists on Sunday evening, remain in serious condition in Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah and Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, respectively. The assessment of the medical professionals is that Tzipora is now a paraplegic as a result of her gunshot wounds. She remains paralyzed from the waist down. Shimon has undergone multiple surgeries, the latest being on Monday night, to relieve pressure on his spine. He is currently unable to speak and uses SMS phone messages to communicate when necessary.
