IsraelNationalNews.com Palestinian assailants hurled two firebombs this morning along the Tunnels Highway south of Jerusalem, causing a car wreck in which four Israelis were injured. The driver of the car lost control of the vehicle when he slammed on his brakes and hit a roadside fence. An Arab vehicle then hit him from behind, injuring occupants of both cars. In a separate incident, Arabs who threw firebombs and rocks earlier this morning from the neighboring village of El Hader clashed with IDF forces. No injuries to soldiers were reported. Similarly, no soldiers were hurt by Palestinian fire at them near Shechem this afternoon.



The city of Holon granted the Palestinian terrorists a victory of sorts this afternoon, announcing the cancellation of its annual gala Purim celebration. The festivities, known as the Adloyada, feature a parade and traditional Purim costumes with the participation of children from all over, and have been widely advertised throughout the country. The municipality said that in addition to the stormy weather predicted for Friday, it had yielded to pressure by worried parents, hundreds of whom had called and exprssed concern that the festivities would provide a prime target for terrorists. The police, for their part, said that there was no reason to call off the Adloyada.



The city of Haifa announced that its Purim festivities would be held as usual, but with increased police protection.
