Helicopters were in the air over Ra’anana this morning in an attempt to track two Arabs who attacked a construction site manager, fled in his car, abandoned it, and continued on foot into the orchards on the edge of the city. The site manager was evacuated to hospital in moderate condition. The search for the attackers continues at this time.
Components of a bomb, including steel nails, were found near Kibbutz Meirav (Jezreel Valley region) by security officials on Sunday. Arabs were apparently in the process of preparing the explosive device, before security officials came on the scene.
Soldiers stationed near N’vei Dekalim along Israel\'s southern coast were attacked by Arab gunmen on Sunday night. There were no injuries and soldiers did not return fire. Other shooting and grenade attacks were recorded in the course of the night.
