Quality of life continues in towns of Yesha, despite shooting along several routes. Some of Israel\'s top artists are making their way to cultural events in Yesha with large turnouts. Such was the case last week with a music festival in Gush Katif and a performance by a nationally-acclaimed comedian in Dolev. Today, thousands are expected from all over the country to celebrate the holiday of Tu B\'av in Shilo, located 40 minutes north of Jerusalem.
Tu B\'av is a traditional day of national unity and joy when the Elders of Israel, through a special decree, married off 200 males from the tribe of Binyamin, thereby saving the existence of one of the 12 tribes of Israel (Judges, Chap. 21). In the course of the Biblical event, the soon-to-be brides danced in the vineyards of Shilo, then Israel\'s capital. In the planning for today\'s festival, Jewish girls from Shilo will dance in the same vineyards, while Hassidic music artists will provide entertainment. The day\'s events will also feature guided tours of the ancient archeological site of Shilo, a multi-media presentation, and arts and crafts workshops for kids.
