How better to \"get away from it all\" than to come to Israel for a week of Torah study? A group of members of the Agudath Sholom synagogue of Stamford, Ct. had no answer, and did exactly that. Synagogue president Tzvi Bernstein took care of the organizational details, and a dozen lawyers, psychologists, accountants and others left their offices and spent the past week studying Torah in Yeshivat HaKotel in the Old City. They took a daily hour-long break to tour the Old City, and as Bernstein said, \"The duality of our studies regarding the joy of Purim and our touring of the ruins of Jerusalem actually complemented each other.\" The participants expressed the hope that they would continue their Torah studies in between visits to Israel, and called upon other synagogues to follow their example.
