Security has been reinforced in Israeli cities located near Arab populations. Police Commissioner Shlomo Aharonishki called upon citizens to celebrate Purim this coming Friday as usual, but to be extra alert. He said, \"Even with our maximum effort we cannot promise total security. With great sadness, I have to admit that we cannot say that there will be no more terror attacks.\" Almost all police resources will now be dedicated to maintaining security; study courses have been canceled, and policemen will work 12-hour shifts. Aharonishki paid a visit to the outdoor market of Machaneh Yehuda in Jerusalem today, to inspect the security arrangements there. It has been a prime target for terrorist attacks in the past.
