The terrorist war on Israeli civilians and soldiers continues. Mortar rockets were fired at noontime at the Jewish town of Netzarim located along Israel\'s southern Mediterranean coast. Last night, Arabs fired mortar rockets at Netzarim and nearby Rafiach Yam. IDF positions in the same region at Gadid, N\'vei Dekalim, and the Egyptian border crossing also came under heavy fire. There were no injuries in the attacks, and soldiers returned fire.



In a drive-by shooting last night, Arab gunmen opened fire on a Border Police patrol near PLO-controlled Tul Karem, east of Netanya. Three security personnel were injured. Border policewoman Chani Abramov, from Netanya, underwent six hours of surgery in the Rabin Medical Center in Petach Tikva and is listed in serious/stable condition. Her partner, Rashad Amir Aznaye, from Rahat, is listed in moderate condition following surgery in Hadera\'s Hillel Yafeh Hospital. A third victim, border policeman Ahid Hasson from Dalyat el-Carmel, was lightly wounded. An Arafat-controlled Fatah cell claimed responsibility for the attack.



In Judea and Samaria, Arab terrorists opened fire last night against Jewish civilians in Beit Chaggai south of Jerusalem and in Psagot, a suburb north of Jerusalem. In both instances, there were no injuries, and soldiers returned fire. In addition, an Israeli motorist was unhurt by terrorist gunfire close to midnight near the Shomron community of N\'vei Tzuf, east of Tel Aviv.
