An IDF tank scored a direct hit against a terrorist cell in Gaza Thursday night. Three of four terrorists on their way to carrying out an attack were killed. They were carrying a large explosive device.



Thursday morning, security personnel captured seventy-four Kalashnikov assault rifles, fifty magazines and ammunition in the Negev desert, near Mitzpei Ramon. The weapons were smuggled in from Egypt. The smugglers managed to flee back to safe haven in Egypt.



Despite five consecutive weeks of an IDF offensive aimed at halting the shelling of homes in Jewish Gaza, Arab terrorists fired a mortar shell Thursday night at the community of Kfar Darom; it landed outside the community.



Two soldiers were injured, moderately and lightly, in an anti-tank rocket attack against their armored vehicle on the Philadelphi Route in southern Gaza. Further north, terrorists fired at an IDF position near the Gaza community of Netzarim. IDF soldiers on the Kissufim Road in Gaza were targeted in an anti-tank rocket attack.
