Israeli Army spokesmen said Hamas snipers shot at medics as they rescued the injured. The incident occurred near the Jewish community of Morag in mid-afternoon when terrorists attacked an Israeli Army post with mortar shells, apparently from the area of Rafiah on the Egyptian-Israeli border.
A Kassam rocket landed at the Gush Katif community of Gane Tal Thursday night, and at least one more was fired at an Israeli town near Sderot late this morning. No one was hurt in either incident, but much damage was caused in the first rocket attack.
