Christian leaders and organizers of the international Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem will gather in Jerusalem on Sunday for a massive prayer rally, with the participation of thousands of Christians from around the world, Knesset Members and Israeli government figures. The rally will take place at the Wohl Rose Garden at 2 PM. Among the organizing groups are Eagles' Wings and the Christian Allies Caucus.
Among those planning to attend are Natan Sharansky, Gideon Ezra, Pat Robertson, Robert Stearns, Mike Evans, Dmitry Radyshevsky and many others. Attendees of the International Christian Embassy's annual Feast of the Tabernacles will swell the ranks of the prayer rally.
"It is fitting," said Chairman MK Yuri Stern (National Union), "that Jerusalem be the focal point of the tens of thousands of events world-wide that will be taking place to celebrate this year's Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem." Robert Stearns, one of the founders and a driving force behind the international Day of Prayer, said, "The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem marks a historic coming together of the Jewish and Christian communities around the importance of God's eternal covenant concerning Zion and Jerusalem."
