The police arrested two Arab men and a youth early this morning on charges of having carried out an attempted lynching of four Israelis last month. The Israelis made a wrong turn and mistakenly entered the PA-controlled town of Kalandia, just north of Jerusalem, and were promptly set upon and assaulted by a mob of Arabs with pipes and blocks. One of the Israelis managed to break free and alert IDF soldiers a few hundred meters away. He said today that he still has trouble sleeping and has not yet been able to return to work, because "the vision of that day doesn't leave me."

A curfew was imposed on areas of the PA-controlled city of Jenin in northern Shomron today, as IDF forces closed in on a hospital in which several terrorists are apparently hiding...

A Jewish motorist living in the Shomron was arrested this afternoon after he shot and killed an Arab man. He explained that the Arab car driving behind him was trying to run him off the road, and that he "felt threatened." He said he tried to signal to the Arab car, but when the threatening behavior continued, he felt he had no choice but to shoot.
