A week-long \"Vigil for Israel,\" produced by the Baltimore Zionist District, is underway this week, featuring a half-hour of recollections and memorials for each and every one of the 137 victims of Arab terrorism in Israel of the past ten months. Information about the victim\'s life and death is read aloud, a candle is lit, and symbols of the victim\'s life are placed on a small wooden plaque, in half-hour \"shifts\" between 8 AM and 8 PM each day. Today, over 40 campers from Beth Tfiloh Camp will be arriving for an hour, prominent rabbis will be there at various times, and Baltimore Mayor Martin O\'Malley may also show up this evening. The vigil is scheduled to end on Sunday, the 9th of Av, a day of mourning and fasting in commemoration of the destructions of both Holy Temples and other Jewish historic tragedies. The \"Shalom Baltimore\" radio show on WJFK-1300 AM, featuring an exclusive Arutz-7 audio newscast, will broadcast the vigil live on Tisha B\'Av. To find out or share information, send email to .
