The Knesset Finance Committee will not convene tomorrow to vote on the allocation of funds for the Evacuation Authority headed by Yonatan Bassi. The committee is thus not allowed to function, according to a recent ruling by the Civil Service Commissioner. Bassi told journalist David Bedein that if in fact the funds are not approved, he would close his office this coming week. The committee is expected to convene, however, next week.
