Unidentified Arabs kidnapped and brutally murdered 18-year-old Uri (Yuri) Gushtzin from Jerusalem last night. The victim was last seen at a friend\'s house in the northeastern suburb of Pisgat Ze\'ev around midnight, only three buildings away from his own home. In the middle of his short walk home, Arabs apparently pounced on him and brought him to the PA town of Al Bireh. He was shot and stabbed to death, although investigators are still unsure where the murder actually took place. Palestinian residents said they found his body north of Ramallah, close to the Beit El Military Court and the District Coordinating Office, and brought it to an IDF office at around 3 AM. A Fatah group took credit for the murder.
A similar murder occurred three months ago, when Stanislav Sandomirsky, a new immigrant from Russia who spoke neither Hebrew or English, was last seen leaving Jerusalem\'s northern neighborhood of N\'vei Yaakov and was murdered in the Ramallah area. His widow Ina told Arutz-7 today that information she received at the time leads to the conclusion that after he began driving, Arabs stopped the car by causing a near-accident, forced their way in, and abducted him. The murderers have not been caught.
Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, asked this morning by reporters if Israel plans to retaliate against the murder, did not respond.
