A soldier was lightly injured in the eye last night when Arabs attacked an IDF force near Ariel, in southern Shomron. An Israeli motorist was attacked with a grenade last night near the Peirot checkpoint near Tul Karem in western Shomron, east of Netanya. He was not hurt. A bomb was detonated this morning against an IDF patrol on the Mount Eval road near Shechem; there were no injuries.
Other targets of Arab fire last night included the N\'vei Dekalim industrial zone in Gaza, Kibbutz Nachal Oz within pre-1967 Israel (attacked with mortar shells), an Israeli motorist from Har Bracha (Shomron) driving near Hawara south of Shechem, and a jeep in northern Shomron. Palestinians also attempted to murder an Israeli motorist near Beit Haggai south of Hevron, soldiers near Morag in Gaza, and soldiers in the Ofer base near Ramallah.
