The Supreme Court Chief Justice recommended, MK Eitan Cabel accepted, and the bottom line is that the suit against President Katzav\'s clemency of Margalit Har-Shefi has been withdrawn. Chief Justice Aharon Barak said that the Court is restricted in its ability to intervene in such decisions by the President. Cabel had claimed that Katzav\'s decision to cut down Har-Shefi\'s prison sentence from nine months to six was \"unreasonable.\" Har-Shefi was convicted of \"not preventing\" the assassination of Yitzchak Rabin.
