MJE - Manhattan Jewish Experience - an outreach organization based in New York City, has arrived in Israel for its annual mission to Israel. The purpose of the trip is to expose to the visitors, many of whom know little or nothing about Israel, the vast layers of tradition and history that make Israel the home it is for Jews. On the itinerary is the holy city of Tzfat (Safed), the Golan Heights, the Dead Sea area, Masada, and the old city of Jerusalem.
