Kleiner is traveling around the country warning against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s so-called ‘disengagement plan.’ The former ‘Likud-nik’ says the Prime Minister’s plan is a “recipe for disaster and continued bloodshed for both Israeli and Arab populations.”

Kleiner has been presenting his own plan, which would require all citizens of the State of Israel to pledge allegiance to Israel as a Jewish State. Any Jews or Arabs refusing to do so would see their voting rights revoked and would be offered diplomatic and financial assistance in relocating to another country. Kleiner claims that most of the ‘elite’ in the Palestinian Authority who could afford to leave Israel have already left the Jewish State on their own initiative.

Kleiner, whose ‘Herut’ party did not make it into the Knesset last election, has been invited to address diverse communities across the U.S. He recently addressed the posh Jewish community of Westhampton, which has hosted Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz , Chief of Staff Moshe Yaalon and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

In 1998, Kleiner, together with Ze'ev Binyamin Begin (Menachem Begin’s son) and David Re'em broke away from the Likud when then-Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu signed the Wye Agreement – forming Herut, which was the original name of Prime Minister Menachem Begin’s party.

While the party’s approach to the Arab-Jewish conflict is well known, supporters tout the party’s integrity in the wake of the scandal involving Minister Yosef Paritsky of Shinui – an anti-religious party which ran on a platform of government reform. As a case in point, supporters say Kleiner donated all 10 million Shekels of government-allocated money given to his party to The Jerusalem Reclamation Project – an organization dedicated to reclaiming Jewish properties in Jerusalem that were confiscated from their owners in previous wars.
