A Jerusalem court extended the custody of three Arabs suspected of attacking a Border Guard policeman on Tuesday outside the PLO Orient House headquarters in Jerusalem. One of Arabs was filmed punching policeman Chaim Nir in the face and breaking his jaw. A few hours afterwards, intelligence sources learned that he and three others were hiding out in the building, and the police immediately laid siege to the building. Within a few hours, an agreement was reached with their lawyer, and they gave themselves up.

A police spokesman told an Arutz-7 correspondent this morning that the government forbids the police from entering Orient House without a special permit. Nir is still hospitalized, and hospital sources say his condition is moderate but improving.
