Israeli security expertise is a hot commodity. Israeli consultants and security experts have been hired to secure this year’s Summer Olympics in Greece, to create better security methods in the Unites States, and now, according to a report in Globes, to train the Japanese Emperor’s security guards.
The Academy for Advanced Security and Anti-Terror Training has signed a contract to train security guards for Teikei Co. Ltd., the Japanese corporation that is responsible for the security of the Japanese Emperor.
The contract, which was signed with executives from the Japanese corporation on a visit to Israel a few days ago, is expected to pave the way for future contracts with the corporation, as well as with other Asian companies, since the Japanese firm is a regional leader in the security industry.
The Japanese security guards will be arriving in Israel for training at the academy in the coming months.
