The Indian Defense Ministry and Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) have signed an industrial cooperation agreement that could be worth up to $2 billion in business for Israel. The package deal includes some or all of the following: the sale of three Phalcon early-warning aircraft, the upgrading of Indian Air Force planes, the production of Barak naval surface-to-surface missiles, the development of the Super Barak missile, the sale/production of unmanned aerial vehicles and the Green Pine radar system. An additional deal being discussed is the upgrading of Indian T-72 main battle tanks, in which four Israeli firms may join forces.
