Yisrael Yifrach, a 17-year-old yeshiva student in Paris, is in serious but stable condition after being stabbed by an Arab on Friday afternoon. Yisrael was attacked with a screwdriver minutes after he left the yeshiva, Mekor Yisrael, in northern Paris. Eyewitnesses said that the attempted murderer yelled "Allahu Akbar" before stabbing his victim. As of last night, Yisrael's condition had improved, and his life is not considered endangered. French government officials condemned the assault, and Interior Minister Dominique de Villepin even visited the site of the attack.
