A seven-kilogram bomb was found and safely detonated by soldiers near the northern Shomron community of Sa-Nur yesterday. The town, which was all but emptied of residents as a result of the Oslo War and other problems, now has ten idealistic families, with several more planning to move in over the course of the coming weeks. Sa-Nur is one of four northern Shomron communities that Prime Minister Sharon aims to unilaterally evacuate and demolish.

A IDF tank-escorted bulldozer destroyed three buildings in the Dir el-Balah area of Gaza last night, PA sources reported. In Shechem, as well, the homes of two terrorists linked to specific attacks were razed last night. IDF sources confirmed that counter-terrorism operations were taking place both in Shechem and in Gaza.
