Following the violence of an extreme left-wing demonstration at the Kisufim Crossing into Gush Katif on Friday, today's visitors to the site wished to show support for the soldiers' efforts. On Friday, 16 police officers were injured trying to control the "stop the anti-terror operation" protest - while today, the parents of four soldiers who were killed in Gaza ten days ago came this morning to show their support. They brought a large sign reading, "IDF: We're With You All the Way."
Their children - Sgt. Ofer Jerbi, Sgt. Kobi Mizrachi, Sgt. Aviad Deri, and Sgt. Idron Amar - were blown up on May 11 by a combination of Arab fire and the explosives they were transporting. The next night, five more soldiers were killed in a similar attack nearby.
