A rabbis' conference is being held this afternoon at Meir Institute in Jerusalem to discuss the continuation of the "Face to Face" campaign. The campaign proved very successful just 3-4 weeks ago, when thousands of people went door-to-door to discuss in a personal manner their objections to the unilateral withdrawal plan. The visitors were from Gush Katif, as well as from other Yesha communities, and the visits took place in cities all across Israel. The campaign is credited with having been a major element in the victory of the anti-withdrawal camp in the Likud referendum.

The rabbis are discussing today how the momentum of the campaign may be utilized to continue the one-on-one meetings between the secular and religious publics. "How to Introduce the People of Israel to the World of Judaism" will be a main topic at the conference.

Among the participants are former Chief Rabbis Avraham Shapira and Mordechai Eliyahu.
