Yet another terrorist attack this morning, again without fatal results. A 25-year-old man standing guard over workers on the new Trans-Israel highway was shot by Palestinians from an area near Kalkilye, east of Kfar Saba. He was wounded in his hand and foot, and was taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba. A full closure has been imposed on Kalkilye.
The Tunnels Highway, between Gush Etzion and Jerusalem, is again closed to traffic this morning. IDF sapper forces are attempting to dismantle an explosive found along the road… This morning, Palestinians fired on an IDF outposts south of the Kisufim checkpoint near Gaza… Israeli forces arrested five wanted Palestinians last night - four Tanzim fighters near Kalkilye, on suspicion of shooting at Israeli targets, and another Arab in Hevron.
