Public Security Minister Uzi Landau said that since the present government took office, the destruction has stopped. He said that trucks are no longer allowed into the Temple Mount compound. The Committee Against the Destruction of Temple Mount Artifacts said this morning that Landau\'s declaration is false, and that the Waqf continues its systematic destruction of Temple stones with a special heavy-duty electric saw. Landau and Education Minister Limor Livnat, who have met with several archaeologists lately regarding this matter, say that Prime Minister Sharon refuses to discuss the issue with them and has ordered the legal authorities not to take any action on the matter without his prior approval.
