Among other terrorist operations, Tubasi personally recruited, directed and supervised the female bomber who murdered three Israelis in a shopping center in Afula in May 2003.
Security will remain extremely high around the country as the holidays continue. Memorial Day will be commemorated tonight and tomorrow, followed immediately by Independence Day. A closure remains in effect on PA residents of Yesha (Judea, Samaria & Gaza), preventing them from entering pre-1967 Israel. Other security precautions are also in effect, as intelligence community officials warn that terrorist motivation remains high to strike during the holidays.
