Seven young women, aged 17-25, from Crown Heights, NY, are volunteering in Hevron for two weeks. Their trip to Israel is being funded by Friends of Families of Hevron, and they are working with children and helping to refurbish the vandalized ancient Jewish Cemetery there.

Thousands of Jews from Baltimore congregations gathered this week to show solidarity with Israel and pray for peace in the Middle East. The march was preceded by a 90-minute service at B\'nai Jacob Shaarei Zion synagogue in Park Heights.

A 17-member mission from the Young Israel of Holliswood in Queens, NY will arrive in Israel tonight for a 6-day solidarity trip. They will visit Hevron, Gush Etzion, Binyamin communities, and more.

All 8 graduating seniors of the Bais Chana High School for girls in New Haven, CT, will be studying in seminaries in Israel this year.
