US Senator Charles E. Schumer (New York), visiting Israel this week, said that the US Embassy must be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, in accordance with US law, independent of the status of the diplomatic process with the Palestinians. He called upon American and Israeli officials to begin negotiating a timetable for the move. Schumer also urged the United Nations to release the uncensored videotape or tapes relating to Hizbullah\'s abduction of Israeli soldiers - tapes that the world body has been holding since last October.
