Over 300 people gathered at Congregation B\'nai Torah in Indianapolis yesterday to \"demonstrate solidarity with their brothers and sisters under fire in Israel.\" The names of the Israeli victims of Palestinian terror of the past nine months were read aloud, and US Representatives Julia Carson and Michael Pence spoke of the need to stand by Israel in its time of need. Others spoke about the importance of learning about the current situation in Israel, writing letters to elected officials and newspapers, visiting Israel, helping terrorist victims, the importance of prayer, the centrality of Jerusalem, and more.



The first planeload of the United States Maccabiah team arrived in Israel last night, with close to 400 athletes, coaches and trainers. They disembarked with signs reading, \"We love Israel\" and similar sentiments.
