Jerusalem municipality officials razed ten illegally-built houses in the Arab neighborhood of Shuafat this morning. The houses were not lived in. Some left-wing protestors were arrested, and police forces were on hand to prevent violence, but all in all the operation went smoothly. Another 15 illegal structures in the area are to be demolished in the coming days.



Bedouin Arabs in the Yata area (south of Hevron) who were expelled several days ago after the murder of Susia shepherd Ya\'ir Har-Sinai started returning to the lands yesterday. They erected tents on the state-owned lands. Civil Administration authorities took firm action this morning to expel them from the area.
